Basically the most important about these pieces it the play and play's craziness. But for me working in any material starts with appreciation. For the material and its own age and where it belongs.
The idea is important but I always combine my thinking with the shape and the mass and volume.
Basically all the mass and the relation between the forms is the sculpture for me.
If something appears from the material right away I have to accept it.
I believe that reaction towards every second from and to the material is very important.
About the pieces: they are related as Kernöl to Salat. They are each other's companion.
Maybe they remind you of a can or fish or potato. But they are sculptures out of the wood, a living material which has to be touched, sit on, and played!
Just as I played during the time of making them. But they are serious play from me to others and for the place and for everyone.
